In NCAA men's basketball the RPI rankings tend to give a more accurate reflection of how non big time program teams rank.
That being said, my beloved Dayton Flyers are now sitting at #17 in the nation ... as opposed to #37 in the other human voted polls ... and would seem to be shoe in for an NCAA bid at this point and probably even a fairly low seed due to name recognition.
This would give them an excellent chance to go deep into the tournament this year.
I predicted this team to be a sleeper this year ... and they are holding true to that.
