After much wailing and gnashing of teeth HERE (http://billiardsdigest.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=378133#Post378133) about comments ... deleted and unsubstantiated ... left of FOX's website, I am confused that our resident leftists don't also have their collectivist shorts all in a knot over USATODAY willingly publishing a letter to the editor HERE (http://www.usatoday.com/news/opinion/letters/story/2012-02-15/Kobe-Bryant-occupy-wall-street/53108594/1) calling for armed assaults on Wall Street:

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Your piece accuses the protesters of sitting around and doing nothing. So maybe they should take up their Second Amendment-sanctioned guns and storm Wall Street and our nation's capitals.</div></div>

You read USA Today? Is it even still being published?

Hard to get excited over the tree falling in the forest without a sound.

But this is an excellent explanation for about half your questions in posts. Why hasn't someone said something? Because they haven't seen the question or the article in question.

Surprising, no? No, actually, it isn't.

Maybe you can explain where you go for your daily outrage fixes, so others might take a peek occasionally to see what's the outrage du jour. I will point out, however, that well over half, based on your offerings being a representative sample, are simply false when examined.

During the Bush years, there were so many crimes committed that its difficult to know where to start if you wanted to do something about it. This was Obama's dilemma.

Presented with the disaster that GW Bush et al handed him, he had to make a choice, save the country or persecute the criminals!

That might be so, but that's not what I believe on this subject.

The national security state is so bloody and filthy, that no one dares air this dirty laundry. The nation would be immediately and totally discredited to its people, because one thing leads to another and another.

It's the reason Nixon got pardoned, ahead of all charges, against all charges, and that's the precedent for top officials. In Nixon's case, to continue the JFK coverup (cf: Haldeman's account of going to DCI Richard Helms to warn him about the 'Bay of Pigs' thing being re-opened, which Haldeman says he later deduced was code for the JFK matter.) Quotes included here. (http://mtracy9.tripod.com/kennedy.html)

</div></div>So your point is that since Bush broke the law so many times and it is so difficult to know where to start why on earth would Obama stop the continuance of all this crime. He could just ride the coattails and continue committing crimes where he pleases. Obama has you by the sack. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif You can't call the actions criminal in reference to Bush and not criminal in reference to Obama so he just keeps them going. Heck he might even send in some mercenaries if he wants.

Any crimes or abuses of power by a president that go unpunished become part of the tools the following presidents will use.

That's why it would be good to prosecute one or more of these bastards for such acts, whether in their terms by impeachment conviction and then trial, or after their terms, by grand jury indictment and then trial.

However, until that happens it would be nice if those sharing their outrage of W would kindly shut up if Obama has continued the practice. Now if that person wants to also call out Obama's abuse alongside W's abuse then we might care to listen.

They do not protest it because in the black heart of a statist rages a hatred of liberty and a love for the mob rule.

The TP was all for 2nd Amendment rights. That's why they turned up at political gatherings armed to the teeth.
Now someone says the Occupy protesters should do the same, suddenly your panties are all in a twist.

Q..deal with it.
