View Full Version : Definition of Irony
I read this on FB from a buddy of mine...
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Definition of Irony
The food stamp program, part of the Department of Agriculture, is pleased to be distributing the greatest amount of food stamps ever.
Meanwhile, the Park Service, also part of the Department of Agriculture, asks us to "Please Do Not Feed the Animals" because the animals may grow dependent and not learn to take care of themselves.</div></div>LOL.

It's not an ask, it's a command or a reminder to obey the law, as it is against the law to feed wild animals in a national park, not to mention, unsafe.
However, sometimes it seems I recall, the NPS has put out food for elk and the like, during prolonged drought/bad weather times that do not create the conditions to allow enough forage for them.
Aren't they breaking the law when they do that? No, they are trained government officials, not subject to that law for private citizens.
Then, of course, they have predator strategies, bringing in top line predator animals to EAT UP the excess numbers of the herds.

</div></div>Blah blah blah. One arm of the government says don't feed them because they will become dependant and the other arm of the government says feed them. One side is about animals the other side is about humans, the outcome when being fed is exactly the same.

The ultimate irony is that the left is too programmed to see the irony.

According to atheism, yes ... humans are not divine at all, and are in fact merely shaved apes.
Why the hypocrisy?
Are they 'wild' animals?
Do all Americans live in the wild?
Get real.
Wild dog.

LOL, it is funny that qtip-the-village-idiot will one day tell us we all evolved from an amoeba and then the next day ask if we are wild animals. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
