Watch this video to see how badly Mitt Romney is misrepresenting the President's views.

I have now posted about 10 threads on how Mitt Romney lies constantly.
The religious right is silent.

"Just because he lies ALL the time and CHANGES his policies to what ever State he is in,just because nodody likes him or trusts him, that's no reason to not vote for him. Anything is better than the guy in the WH who wants to take our guns away from us."!!!!!!!!!

I guess it is only fair considering how often the leftist media have been misrepresenting Mitt's views.

Sent you a PM a while back, honey.

Really? Please give us an example of the media's misrepresentation of Mitt's views. I gave you an example which utterly destroyed Mitt's credibility. Why don't you give us one, just one, from any news source other than Fox, or some right wing blog, that proves your statement?

BTW---HERE'S MORE OF MITT'S LIES:

Mitt Romney: Severely Pathological
Class Warfare Exists (http://www.classwarfareexists.com/mitt-romney-severely-pathological/)

Maddowblog has a weekly catalog of Romney’s lies captured by week…this week – they captured 22 Romney lies in the last 7 days alone. You have to understand – this ISN’T “business as usual”…this isn’t “all politicians lie”. Yes – all politicians lie in some capacity; however – this man has set a new Golden standard that would make Nathan Spewman (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nj4uBwpimjg) blush. It’s not normal but worse than that – as I’ve said before…he lies not because he thinks he’s that smart….it’s because he thinks that you’re just that stupid. It’s insulting.

From the 12th installment of cataloged Romney lies – read the rest in the link (http://maddowblog.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/04/06/11058547-chronicling-mitts-mendacity-vol-xii) :

1. Campaigning in Wisconsin, Romney complained (http://www.politico.com/blogs/burns-haberman/2012/04/romney-all-blame-goes-to-obama-119471.html) , “The president put an ad out yesterday, talking about gasoline prices and how high they are. And guess who he blamed? Me!”

That’s not true (http://maddowblog.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/04/03/10998461-obama-allies-hit-romney-on-big-oil-ties) ; Obama’s ad does not blame Romney for gas prices. It simply tells voters that the oil companies are supporting Romney’s campaign.

2. In an ad (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2UhEKQTXDk&feature=player_embedded) , the Romney campaign argued that Obama “has managed to pile on nearly as much debt as all the previous presidents combined.”

That’s not not even close (http://www.attackwatch.com/fact-check-romney-is-wrong-about-president-obama-and-the-debt/) to the truth.

3. In the same ad, Team Romney claimed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2UhEKQTXDk&feature=player_embedded) , “President Barack Obama named himself one of the country’s four best presidents.”

That’s blatantly untrue (http://maddowblog.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/03/29/10922331-its-going-to-be-a-long-seven-months) , and the campaign knows it’s blatantly untrue because it’s been told the truth several times.

Dana Milbank at the WaPost details (http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/the-facts-vs-mitt-romney/2012/04/06/gIQAITqjzS_story.html?hpid=z2) just how bad it is:

PolitiFact has awarded Romney its “Pants on Fire” or “False” ratings for 32 claims. Among them are these: that Obama “didn’t even mention the deficit or debt” in his State of the Union address, that “our Navy is smaller than it’s been since 1917,” that Obama “never worked in the private sector,” that Obama “gave” the automakers “to the UAW,” and that “we’re only inches away from no longer being a free economy.”

Wednesday’s speech alone had more than a dozen distortions, including allegations that: Obama “has failed to even pass a budget” (Congress passes budget resolutions, which the president doesn’t sign); Obama created a panel empowered to deny treatments under Medicare (the board can only make recommendations, and only if Congress fails to find Medicare cuts), Obama “has added regulations at a staggering rate” (the Business Roundtable just said it “lauded” the administration’s attempt at regulatory reform).

No fewer than three Romney claims in that one speech merited PolitiFact’s “Pants on Fire” rating: that Obama led “a government takeover of health care,” has been “apologizing for America abroad” and is ending “Medicare as we know it.” Romney’s assertions that Obama “is the only president to ever cut $500 billion from Medicare” and that eliminating Obamacare saves “about $100 billion” were rated false.

I don't think forum posts constitute any part of the legitimate press. Do you?

All I'm asking for are the facts as reported by an established and respected news organization other than FOX (which is only respected by the mindless sheep that constitute their audience).

Sure, but these are lies for the common good, doncha know?

It's the same lying that is justified by Catholics, Jews, Mormons, and Moslems-- necessary means to an end, the end justifies the means, especially when protecting the in-group from the outsiders.

It's what Plato specified in The Republic-- that the superior intellect/moral people who deserve to rule are also required from time to time to engage in the noble lie.

It's also what the philosopher Strauss, godfather to all the neo-cons, said, as well. Gotta lie to the common folk-- it's for their own good, especially when you're running for office, for Pete's sake!

Who could trust a man as leader who won't lie for his own benefit, when then he probably wouldn't lie for <s>the country's</s> his social cohort's benefit? See what I mean?

</div></div>OK, let's see if I can walk you through this...Just how many posts here from lefties start with their own thought? Next to zero? Yeah that is what I thought also. Almost every single one of them start with a link and a quote from something you might deem legitimate press. Now, since you question the veracity of the quoted contribution by the lefties here I guess I can agree with you on that, most of them I don't really consider legitimate myself.

You have never had a thought that didn't come from the Bible, Rush Limbaugh or Neil Boortz.

BTW, this is a discussion board. Maybe you haven't noticed it [ its possible, you have only been here for years!!!! ]but the standard post has to do with something that's topical or in the news.

LOL, qtip you didn't even notice it but he just said nothing you post is legitimate, or a part of the legitimate press. I tend to agree with him on that front.

Yeah, and interestingly enough, I don't hear any from the left threatening anything about guns, and in fact, I'd like to hear more complaints about the availability of guns, and the dangerous kinds of guns, which are far too easily available in our society.

The gun lobby has been spending a fortune for over a decade, by buying our Representatives to prevent any passing of reasonabloe gun laws in our country. And they have also been responsible for pushing this ridiculous Stand Your Ground law in the Red States.

It's insane and absurd!

Mitt is a pathological LIAR, without conscience, who believes his own lies, at the time he's telling them, and he proves it everytime he opens his mouth, and flip flops from one lie to another.

The man has no honor, at all. Who ties their family dog onto the top of their vehicle, in an open cage, and drives for hours in the cold! That alone proves what kind of person he is, IMO.
Low down, and without conscience, and can justify any and every inhumane act.
