Why shood special days be happy days?????????????????
Whats wrong with just remembering -- respekting -- caring -- worrying -- helping etc.

Basikally HAPPY givs me the shits.Likewize MERRY.

Main Entry: happy  [hap-ee]
Show IPA/ˈhpi/ Show Spelled
Part of Speech: adjective
Definition: in high spirits; satisfied
Synonyms: blessed, blest, blissful, blithe, can't complain, captivated, cheerful, chipper, chirpy, content, contented, convivial, delighted, ecstatic, elated, exultant, flying high, gay, glad, gleeful, gratified, intoxicated, jolly, joyful, joyous, jubilant, laughing, light, lively, looking good, merry, mirthful, on cloud nine, overjoyed, peaceful, peppy, perky, playful, pleasant, pleased, sparkling, sunny, thrilled, tickled, tickled pink, up, upbeat, walking on air
Antonyms: depressed, discouraged, dissatisfied, miserable, morose, pained, sad, sorrowful, unhappy.

The abov are bullshit.
To say hav a happy day meens that u want something to happen on that day, ie rather than nothing happening.
Hap haz more to do with having luck -- uzually meening good luck.

It would be ok if u are going to the track on armed forces day. Here HAV A HAPPY DAY would be meeningfull and korrekt.

Thank you for your service, and remembering and citing this day of remembrance for the sacrifices of our men and women serving this country.

I am somewhat aligned with mac's point, in this respect: this is a sad day, when we think of how badly used our military families have been, and their extreme sacrifices and losses, under the flawed and criminal theories that 'war creates a good economy,' and 'war makes a president successful,' both of which notions guided the previous idiot scion of an American imperial family.
