So you still donít believe the Christian right wants to take over America and rip up the Constitution? Well, David Barton of Wallbuilders has a message for you. In one of his ďBuilding on the American Heritage SeriesĒ videos uncovered by Right Wing Watch, Barton says that he doesnít care if the Supreme Court rules in favor of homosexuality, itís still illegal because Godís law is the supreme law of the land and supercedes Supreme Court rulings.

Hereís the video:

In other words, if the Bible has a verse that conservatives interpret to be contradictory of Supreme Court rulings, David Barton says the Supreme Court decision is invalid. This is why the Christian right is such a threat to the Constitution and our system of government and why itís so important that we have separation of church and state in this country. If Barton had his way, Supreme Court decisions that rule in favor of abortion rights, gay rights, and many other rulings would be reversed by Biblical decree. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that the Bible overrules the Supreme Court. Bartonís video is just more proof of how much the Christian Right hates the Constitution and our system of government.

When JFK was running for President, the RRW claimed that if he got into office, the USA would be ruled from Rome!

Now the same people are rooting for the Vatican!

This institution that is now geting suddenly all religious ignores the fact that for decades it sanctioned and enabled 100,000s of children to be physically and sexually abused.

Now their big issue is contraception when its been shown that most Catholic women IGNORE them when it comes to contraception.

It must be said.

Well you are wrong again. I did not use any words of my own. Again, none of the words in the article are mine, but rather, are the words of the author, Stephen D Foster Jr. That you failed to understand this most basic of things, speaks volumes as to your relatively low level of proficiency in basic comprehension and logic. But then I suppose I can cut you a break seeing as how your years of Fox News watching have stunted your intellectual abilities and powers of observation.

BTW, I can read, comprehend, and simultaneously translate anything written in English into a second language. Can you? /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
