President Obama was right when he said "private sector is doing fine." So why is the media having a conniption? /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/confused.gif

They are all millionaires and billionaires, and hence, they're happy as pigs in **** with the Repigs policies, which have been all about redistributing the country's wealth to the wealthiest top ten percent for three plus decades.

As Helen Thomas famously stated, "There is no Liberal Press covering the White House."

When will the lefties ever learn the definition of redistribution. You cannot redistribute money away from a group of people that never had the money in the first place.

You do it with slanted tax policies, which cut taxes for the corrupt wealthy, as they steal from and throw M.C. folks out of work, while corporations end up paying NOTHING!

Remember two thirds of the corporations, pay no corporate taxes, at all, as they outsource jobs, hide their profits offshore, and rack up the bucks in corporate welfare, that the rest of us pay for, subsidies, for corporations, which are making profits out of sight, and paying nothing in corporate taxes.

Repigs want MORE tax cuts for the wealthy corporate CEO's, AND billionsiare and millionaires, but no COL raises for workers, no unions for them to bargain for them, no minimum wage laws, just create a system where only the well to do can manage, and ruin opportunities to move up the economic ladder, for the rest. That is the definition of Trickle Down, and also the definition of Fascism. Corporations linked with Government power, against the common good.

By allowing the Real Estate Bubble to continue to grow, ignoring all of the warnings, firing it up, with the Bush "Ownwership" society, and Greenspan's illogically constantly low interest rates, the Middle Class suffered the greatest loss of wealth, whenn it all crashed, and they had been sliding down the economic ladder for decades, before the crash.

The poorest end up paying more for all of the breaks and increases Repiglicans push through to cut out more taxes for the rich, and give them even more subsidies.

By raising everyday living costs, such as what it costs to get your driver's liscense renewed, cost of real estate taxes, CEO's of private college, taking unprecedented salaries and bonuses, while we all pay for subsidizing oil corporations, as they rob the rest of us at the tanks, whie making unprecedented profits!

Destroying education opportunities for those who are not millioniares, not in the top ten percent, by raising the cost of student loans, charging more for all sorts of things, that don't impact the wealthy, but cost more for those who are working harder than ever, and taking home less than they made thirty years ago, while CEO's salaries and bonuses take more from company profits, than ever, six times more, than just a few decades ago.

Everyone pays taxes, BTW. AND, it isn't the fault of the Middle Class, that Bush allowed the extreme and unsustainable costs of medical care, and health insurance highway robbery and corruption to continue to cost the M.C. and the poor so much more, as he blocked any negotiations on costs for prescription drugs, by blocking negotiations for cheaper drugs, just a big huge giveaway for Big Pharma. Pre-emptive added costs the rest of our already underpaid Middle Class, running up trillions in deficits.

We all had to pay for them, all tax payers, just like we all paid for the rising interest costs for his big spending, big growing government policies, big wasting that went on throughout his presidency, billions LOST, in Iraq. Lost? No. Stolen by War Profiteering corporat pigs!

The system was rigged against all but the wealthy, like when folks became ill, the Midle Class and the poorest among us either died without medical care, or lost everything just trying to buy their prescriptions and get operations, they wre dropped from their Health insurance providers, and they lost their homes, 62% of the foreclosures, due to health costs.

Oh yes, potential wealth for all, but stolen by the wealthy, wealth redistributed through corrupt policies, gone before they ever made the money,, or had an opportunity to make it.

Pre-emptive theft, Repiglican style, such as allowing the wealthy, and others in the top ten percent, particularly defense contractors, to no bid rob all of the rest!

It's called corruption and greed, by the wealthy, for the wealthy, and the waste in defense spending, is legandary.

All of the rest of us have to pay for these denfense contractors, while they are partying across the pond, having the time of their lives, or chrging our troops five dollars for a coke, in Iraq, where, BTW there is currently a civil war going on, after the supposed Bush Surge was so successful, while I continued to say it failed, and Iraq would only end up in a civil war, But anything to keep the money train going for Halliburton and the Carlyle Group, with their pockets filled to the brim, by Bush et al, and those no bid contracting war profiteering pigs.

We all paid for all of the Bush giveaways, spending, borrowing, losing and wasting of trillions of dollars, and failing to pay for any of it.the blank check congress, covering for Bush, as he raped the nation's wealth.

More and more for the corporate wealthy top, less and less left for the rest, it has cost all of us what used to be a bright future for our kids, grandkids, and retirement.

All Because of the Bush/Cheney philosophy, "The deficits don't matter!"
