Houston has been named the nation's "#1Millionaire City" for annual growth in millionaires. Last year, the city's 15 largest employers reaped more than $178 billion in profits –more than 50% increase over the previous year. Despite this, Texas is tied with Mississippi for the highest proportion of minimum wage jobs in the nation. So you think it is wrong that the people making the hard decisions to run a company make more money than the guy that sweeps the hallways.

What hard decisions? You obviously have NO IDEA how the stock market works.

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">sweeps the hallways. </div></div>

What a fake you are! You can't even bring yourself to address the facts.

We are talking about cleaning toilets.

The Q is, what,s it worth?

Hands up and be truthful, would you clean toilets for $10 an hour?

</div></div>Your example is not the ONLY example out there. CEOs of companies make the big money because they make the tough decisions. Working the stock market is not easy, if so then everyone would be doing it successfully and be rich.

I would never pay someone $10 to clean toilets. That is entirely too high of a wage.

Frustrating, isn't it? Trying to debate with the those who have an inflated idea of their own value in the market place, yap and b*tch about government spending for important essential pubolic sector jobs, like teachers, firement and policemen, etc., yet they themselves remain on the the Government dole for their own wages from defense contracts?

Defense contracting, where we have traditionally had the biggest waste of money, the most cronyism and corruption, the least measurable oversight, basically gouging the hell out of the whole country, yet they think no other employee in the public sector should be paid enough to buy food!

Defense contracting played a huge role in the disastrous economic consequences of Bush!

Such incredible hypocrisy!

Show me a poor banker or trader.

Sure, the banks are still enjoying huge bonus's and inflated salaries while the folks who invested with them are looking at reduced pensions. In The Netherlands, to qualify for a full State pension, you have to work 2 more years!

Do you know why this is? OF COURSE you don't.

Do you really think sweeping up is the same as cleaning toilets?

JP Morgan just lost 2 B on a bad bet! After the last financial disaster you might think they had learned something but no, you can see that its business as usual.

The reason bankers make huge bets is because they can earn huge bonus's IF it comes good. JP lost in total 8B+ if you include the share price drop. What happened to the person in charge?

She is retiring, with a huge pay off. Even in 2010, her salary was $500,000 but she earned almost $16,000,000 including a $5,000,000 bonus and stock options.

What went wrong was they were betting against their original bet!

The stock market is a Casino rigged for the 0.001%.

So is it your opinion that when these crooks took money from people for investments, put it into places where they knew in advance, was highly risky, and that they didn't have money enough to cover the gambling risks they were taking with other people's money, and then bet against what they had sold to others, knowing it was worthless, weren't morally corrupt, and stealing from their own customers, to fill their own pockets?

Is that what you believe?

What my post says is that there are literally thousands of poor bankers/traders. My post also goes on to say that janitors have more jobs than just cleaning toilets.

I know what your post said. You were telling us you think there are thousands of poor bankers and traders. How do you arrive at that conclusion. Have you ever personally known a Poor CEO of a bank? Are you going to tell us you know thousands of Poor CEO's that run banks? Some facts on your statements, please, bEFORE you trash others, for a change.

Additionally, who are you to determine what another person's worth is for doing a job you've never even done.

You pick out some arbitrary figure that you think a janitor should make per hour, then you tell us that not all janitors perform the same duties. No, they don't, many of them are actually engineers, that you are calling janitors.

At least Janitors and what I prefer to call Building engineers, aren't stealing our tax dollars, lying their asses off by gouging all of us through waste and overcharges, included in their completely corrupted Cronyism with the Military Industrial/Congressional Complex, or by gambling recklessly with money entrusted to them, by other Americans, and then gambling and taking unprotected, irrational risks, gambling with it and losing it through complete corruption, and because of their own personal greed and unprofessional behavior.

Interesting how some people can completely overlook a humongous theft of two thirds of America's wealth, by millionaire and billionaire CEO's of banks and lending institutions and ratings agencies, but can't jump up fast enough through their elitists attitudes, to prosecute their wrath upon those who take care of schools, hospitals, office buildings and many other top security and high tech buildings across the country, and the world!

Typical!

It might be best if you shut up and read before responding next time. With all the banks that have collapsed there are plenty of bankers out of a job. I never said CEO but then again you probably also were stupid enough to think a "banker" only includes those in the top 4 or 5 banks who have weathered the storm. No, I get it granny, you want to run your mouth so you can hear yourself speak.
