Irwin Kay pool table advice

I'm not sure my spelling of the table name is correct but I would like some opinions/advice regarding this table. I have been given the above 3.5'x 7'table and it will need cloth and possibly new rubber. Fortunately I have new Olhausen Accufast rubber already but my concern is is the quality of this table vs the cost of 860 Simonis cloth and paying a mechanic to set it up professionaly. One table mechanic told me the table was a low quality table when the were used in the 70's and not worth putting any money into fixing it up. What do you think?

Irving Kay tables were common years ago. Mostly I remember them having poorly fitting metal parts you would catch your clothes on. Unless it has sentimental value don't put any money into it. You can find something better.

Thanks for the advice! I had a choice between the Irwin Kay and a Valley so I chose to get the valley.
