The stargazers at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics have released a huge three-dimensional map of outer space, a core part of its six-year survey of the skies. Encompassing four billion light-years cubed, the researchers hope to use the map to retrace the movements of the universe through the last six billion years.

We are not alone.

The abov wordage iz ok if u beleev in The Big Bang, and if u believe in one finite universe. I dont -- and many scientists dont.

The latest aether theory says that the universe iz infinite and iz made up of similar kubik cells, eech cell iz 300 million light years akross. Creation and death in eech cell are continuous, and cells had no beginning.

Matter iz made at the center of eech cell, and matter dissapears in blackholes at the edges of eech cell. Galaxies lye in bands, with the biggest blackholes at junktion nodes.

But this sort of deskription depends on how u define a cell. U kan hav the galaxies and major blackholes near center and the creation zones at the edges if u like -- the most popular definition.

BB or no BB,IMO its a cool video.

You are correct, there are stars out there.

WOW. I will nominate that as the understatement of the year.

Dont hurt eg8r's feelings.
He of course refers to the nondisputable fakt that every twinkle out there iz a star fixed in the firmament.

The bigBANG-oneUNIVERSE theory iz all based on redshift, ie that the further galaxys are going away faster and that the furtherest galaxys are going away fasterest.

Aetherists suggest that the universe aint going nowhere, and suggest that the redshift iz simply a rezult of passage throo/past lots of matter in lots of cells over vast distances and times. Without (i think) describing exaktly how this happens.

Anyhow, if astrologysts kan show that there iz a uniformish and regular distribution of void, ie nothing, at about a 300 million by 300 million by 300 million lightyear pattern, and that galaxys tend to cluster in a network of ribbons with lumpish nodes with giant blackholes, ie around each bit of nothing, then this will be goodnews for aetherists and not so good for bigbangerists.
mac.

If aetherists are korrekt, in the end all billiards players will be swallowed by blackholes, balls and all.

Revelation 1:8

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

The Lord sure has a way with words.

1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

The first words of Jesus to John personally identify him with the "I AM' of Scripture, for He calls Himself the "Alpha and Omega." These are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet. The title signifies, in the language of communication, the completeness with which God revealed Himself to mankind through Christ. This is nothing less than an official affirmation by Jesus of His personal deity. No ordinary human would ever say of himself, "I am the first and last."

We see here that God the Father, God the Word, and God the Holy Spirit are all three eternal. They each have no beginning and no end. Their Spirit is one. Their embodiments are three.

"Almighty" indicates the power of the Godhead as being unlimited and omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient. There is no other power. This word indicates power beyond human imagination. Jesus is equal to the Father and the Holy Spirit. All three are the Spirit of God. They have separate personalities. This is Jesus speaking when He says "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending". It is red in my Bible indicating Jesus' own spoken words. This leaves no doubt who He is.

PITY THE LORD DIDNT AKTUALLY SAY ANYTHING WORTH WRITING.

Jeezarse never existed, and never wrote anything much.
But luckyly for llotter the last prophet Omega did exist, and did write epistles, and did die in jerusalem.
But llotter iz stuck on Alpha (jeezarse) who never existed, and ignores Omega (William Irvine), who did exist.

REVELATION SUPPORTS AETHER THEORY.
MATTER IZ CREATED IN THE VOIDS. A new heaven and new earth replace the old.
MATTER DIES IN BLACKHOLES. The "star" then opens the bottomless pit.
ITS ALL THERE.
MAC.

The stars of heaven fall to the earth and the sky recedes like a scroll being rolled up (6:13-14).

Something that resembles a great mountain, burning with fire, falls from the sky and lands in the ocean. It kills a third of the sea creatures and destroys a third of the ships at sea. (8:8-9)

A great star, named Wormwood, falls from heaven and poisons a third of the rivers and springs of water. (8:10-11)

A third of the sun, the moon, and the stars are darkened creating complete darkness for a third of the day and the night. (8:12-13)

A "star" falls from the sky (9:1).

This "star" is given "the key to the bottomless pit" (9:1).

The "star" then opens the bottomless pit. When this happens, "smoke [rises] from [the Abyss] like smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky [are] darkened by the smoke form the Abyss" (9:2).

A woman "clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars" is in labor with a male child. (12:1-2)

A great, fiery red, seven-headed dragon drags a third of the stars of heaven with his tail, and throws them to the earth. (12:3-4)

The sun scorches the Earth with intense heat. (16:8-9)

A new heaven and new earth replace the old. There is no more suffering or death. (21:1-8)
