We'd all have to agree the statement in that picture is true, however. He absolutely CAN lie faster than fact checkers can catch up. (Dude's good at something, after all!)

There sure is. He did a deal with the Iranians.

He, or his people without his knowledge, yes.

Reagan indicated he knew contacts were on-going, although perhaps he had been deceived as to their purpose.

Coming off a golf course, iirc, he made brief remarks to the effect that yes, his campaign had contacts with the Iranians, but that the purpose was to hasten their release, not delay it (to win the election by use of the issue, as had been claimed, and to which he was directly responding as it had come up as to GHW Bush's involvement, in Bush's presidency or the race in '88).

He said it would all come out eventually, but because it was CLASSIFIED, he could do no more than briefly characterize the effort without going into details. Still, history, as these classified matters were declassified and disclosed, would verify his claim.

The problem is that even in that spin, he was acknowledging a violation of the Logan Act, that he was committing an intrusion into foreign policy as a private party not in charge of this country's foreign policy, and with no ability to classify such forbidden activity to hide this offense.

Unless the additional claim is added that it was done at the request and/or permission of the Carter administration, which is so ridiculous no one would buy that.

I wonder if Mitt has been breaking the same law, dealing with NetanYAHOO?

I don't put anything past him! Seems to me that NetanYAHOO started getting out of line, right after Mitsey went over there.

Momney sure does walk like a Momney! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Romney will never be President, for the same reason why no prostitute who sold her body for money, will ever be elected President.

Reasonable people, with honor and morals, understand that it isn't how much money you've made, its how and what you did to make that money.

Romney made his money by dealing with dictators, drug dealers, and destroying potentially, millions of lives.

Same reason why GW Bush (And Rice and Cheney) will never be admired by people with genuine morals and values.

His entire family made their fortune by going in business with murderous, blood thirsty dictators, from Hitler to the same Saudis and family members of bin Laden, who financed, 9/11.

Two colossal GREEDY unconsionable PIGS!

End of Story.
