Sean Hannity – the guy whose <u>go-to experts on unrest in the Middle East are Sarah Palin and Ann Coulter </u>(whom he treats more respectfully than John McCain) – obviously thinks he knows better than two United States Senators sitting on the Foreign Relations Committee. <span style='font-size: 14pt'>As they tried to explain to college drop-out Hannity why it’s in the United States’ interest to continue sending aid to Egypt, he insisted otherwise</span></div></div>
Bush and the Cons got what they wanted.
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">"Iraqi democracy will succeed," President George W. Bush declared in November 2003, <span style='font-size: 14pt'>"and that success will send forth the news from Damascus to Tehran that freedom can be the future <u>of every nation.</u>"</span> The audience at the National Endowment for Democracy in Washington answered with hearty applause. Bush went on: "The establishment of a free Iraq at the heart of the Middle East will be a watershed event in the global democratic revolution." </div></div>
One of the unintended consequences of this was that Egypt wanted freedom from their own dictator, but as this dictator was a staunch US ally Hannity freaks out.
Apparently, the freedom of the Egyptians to choose their own representatives is limited to people Hannity approves of!!!
What a moron.
