"In 2008, the Mediacracy elevated an Illinois State Senator who had briefly showed up in the Federal Senate to the highest office in the land. They did it even though he had no skills for the job and no serious plan for fixing any of the country's problems. They did it to show that they could. They did it because they wanted to tell a compelling story and inflict radical change on a country that would have never voted for it, if it had not been lied and guilted into making the single worst decision in its entire history."

The John Callenders of our time have won and are adeptly willing to do and say anything to conform us rather than inform us.

Close to the truth.

Fact really is that their PRIOR dynastic pick shat the bed so bad that any from the other party would be the nation's pick.

How can that previous 8-year rolling debacle be so quickly swept under the rug in just under 4 years? Other than that W has been erased from history, Stalin-era like? (W got mentioned just once at the GOP election iirc, by his brother, referring to him only 'as my brother.')
