My computer won't open file.

My computer tries to open it with MS Movie or some program like that I don't use and am unfamiliar with. However, even as it apparently plays a 7 second clip, nothing appears.
FLV file? Windows media player?
Its an FLV file. Go here (http://www.videolan.org/) and get the best,FREE video player around. It plays everything.

Thanks for the tip on the media player. I had the GOM player on the other, now broken, computer, and never remembered to go get it afterwards. Worked fine on this file.
Yes, fair and balanced they were. They even got a caller to state a Moslem was preferable to Hillary Clinton, cause at least you know what they're up to. LOL!
Let's see-- raised by his (atheist) father for 10 years as a Muslim? Uh, no. Madrassa? Uh, no. Taught Wahabi doctrine? Even Doocey says probably not.
Was it the main reason he wasn't elected? Perhaps, although hard to tell, since he was elected.

I'll have to take your word for it. My computer warned me not to open it.
Do you think I would steer you onto something bad?

Our default media player for years, VLC has managed to stay ahead of the competition in features and performance, if not always looks, though that's easy enough to fix if you want to. VLC and its source code are maintained by the all-volunteer VideoLAN Organization.

I have been using it for 8 years now.
It can do more than just play video
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">1. Rip DVDs: VLC includes a basic DVD ripper. You probably would never use it when there are better DVD rippers available, but it helps to know that you can in fact, get a decent quality DVD rip with VLC. To rip a movie follow these steps: Go to the Media menu and choose Convert/Save. Click on the Disc tab.
* Here you can adjust the Starting Position and rip only specific titles or chapters.
* Enter file name making sure to end with .MPG, and start ripping.
* Click Save.
2. Record videos: With the new VLC, you can record videos during playback. The record button is hidden by default. To see it, click on View>Advanced Control. The record button will now appear. Clicking on the button while playing a movie or video will start recording. Clicking again will stop recording.
3. Play RAR files: <u>Do you know VLC can play videos zipped inside RAR files? </u>They play like normal video files and you can even use the seek bar. If the RAR file is split into several files, no problem. Just load the first part (.part001.rar ) and it will automatically take the rest of the parts and play the whole file. </div></div>
Same thing but better quality. link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ouKJixL--ms)

I think everyone should learn how to say, 'Laissez la bon temps rollez!' or however it should be spelled, since that is a great idea, even spoken in French.
