Nice job Carol. Drawing from that distance is incredibly hard for me, but is one I have been working on. WTG!!!!

Take care,

Heide ~ yes, you did the WEI table right /ccboard/images/icons/smile.gif

HEIDE,
Im laughing because from the time Wendy and Tom in Cincy informed of how to use this wei table, only now have I had the time to do it!ha ha ha
I just wanted to say in that same match was this shot, pocket the 7,draw back to break 9,8 cluster-8 in corner,9 in corner, again out!-I call this my "Steve Urkel" match walking away from it saying "Did I do that!" ha ha ha ha and in the words of wisdom from the FAR,FAR South EAST-its "seeing the out!"
Carol~miss you Heide!:)-Oh, I draw better than I follow-if given the choice, I'd rather draw two rails than follow three!:)

Great shot Carol! I was playing APA league 9ball Monday night and this shot came up. I missed my leave on the 7 and had to shoot a cross bank. I got decent shape on the 8 and was able to finish the rack. I was a little shocked to pull this off. /ccboard/images/icons/smile.gif

Stickman,
Now that is a great shot! Was your leave for the 7-ball the side or corner pocket?
The shots I mentioned were shots my opponents left me,especially the drill shot of powerdrawing the cueball -I was really irked when I was first left that shot and didnt drawback enough for the 9-UGH!
This wei table is pretty cool-finally, Im no longer in the dark when someone posts shots!
Wasnt it a great feeling when you made the shot?
Good-shooting!
Stay well!
Carol

Initially, I was trying to play leave on the seven in the corner. I hate when I get that far out of line. After making this shot, I had to walk over to my table and scuff my tip and rechalk so I could settle down to finish the run. The tip didn't need scuffed, I just needed a short calming down period~~~~A little trick learned here /ccboard/images/icons/wink.gif

Hey Jim,
I know exactly what you mean about "calming down period":)If you could imagine the shot I was showing- EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect, from the speed,to the gentle breaking of cluster,position-it was a beautiful thing!:)And I like that scuffing tip technique,ha ha
Carol~loves Kodak moments!:)

Nice one! I think I might have played it safe with that layout.. but if you can draw like that, why not? /ccboard/images/icons/smile.gif

Naz, the opponent was a way underrated player. (SL2) The last time I played her, she killed me. She was able to kick two and three rails and get out of my safeties. She could also run 7 and 8 balls. I decided that the best way to keep her from hurting me was to make sure she never got to the table. /ccboard/images/icons/smile.gif It worked!

Hey Seattle-kid,
This match was just one of those matches where I was just "ON!"Thats why I remember it so well-we began at 11:00 am and it was now 8:30 pm-I thought I was done for the day(to return Sunday when I finished the previous match)-when I was told "one more match" the adrenaline started pumping!:)As for the draw, when you practice it enough, it just becomes second nature, just like anything else!:)
Stay well!

Seattle-kid,
When I say I shoot a drill shot 100x,its really no big deal because I am fortunate to have a table,so I can shoot a shot 50x, stir my pasta and come back and shoot it another 50x!ha haha-I believe as long as you shoot EVERY single day, you can achieve consistency, which is what Im working on!
Have a great day!
Carol

Hi Carol,
Nice shot,a good draw stroke comes in handy! I'd play that shot if I knew I was drawing the cue ball to the right side of the 9. That way if i miss it coming I hit it going out.
If the c/b goes to the left side it could carom off the 8 or 9 and scratch. I'll bet that shot frosted your oponent. What I find even more amazing is what kind of break it takes to end up with those 3 balls out of a full rack!/ccboard/images/icons/smile.gif HA HA HA
