AZBilliards has the bracket up:

<a target="_blank" href=http://www.azbilliards.com/upaatlanta/w1.html>http://www.azbilliards.com/upaatlanta/w1.html</a>

32 players?
Single elimination?

They could run this tournament in one evening. This is almost as big a joke as the Little Dictator himself. He could at least have changed it to double emlim.

It looks like the UPAyours members are finally getting with the boycott and they're putting it to CW. At least if the top 32 cash they will all get paid for their time.

Interesting that the UPA US Open boycotters- Tony, Ginky, Jeremy and Mika are not playing in this. Are they attempting to downplay their allegiance or renounce it entirely?

Could be it's too much of a drive for the New Yorkers (Jeremy is on the chart) and expensive for so many days. I'd be interested to see if they show up in Berlin, CT for the Joss $5,000 added. That would be a kick in the a## for CW.

Archer beat Souquet last night 15 to 9or10. There were only 30 to 50 there watching. A real chance to meet the players!
I was sitting next to Archer and he said to me about Souquet "does this guy ever miss a kick?" this after a safety battle where Souquet made a 1, 2 and 3 rail hit in the same game plus returned the safety!! awesome play.

I don't know where Ginky has been period. When is the last time you saw him in a tournament. I haven't seen him at a Joss event in a long time.

Also, for the fans, I think the Joss Tour is hands down better than the single-elimination, race to 15, UPA event.

Tony, Ginky, and Mika didn't make the trip to Philly last month for the Joss tourney, I wouldn't expect to see Tony or Ginky in Berlin....Tony rarely, if ever, plays Joss events, and I haven't seen Ginky since the Capital City Classic...but I suspect that $5000 added is enough to draw Mika there. Also, I have to agree with you, the format of the Joss tourneys is much better for both the fans and the players. There's nothing better to watch than a tough player clawing their way through the one-loss side, going hill-hill a few times along the way.
