They are being advertised in Billiards Digest in the same ad with Johnny Archer's Scorpion cues. I would assume similar quality. They do not give a link.

cuestix.com are actually the people that produce them I think. I skimmed over their site, and didn't see anything about them, but the owner of my local pool room deals cues through CueStix and has them in his catalog. Their called 5280 because that's the altitude of the city in Colorado in which they're made.

The 5280's are a very nice cue. They are made of wood, have layered tips, joint protectors, linen wrap, and specs just like corey deuel likes. On my site, www.nineballking.com (http://www.nineballking.com), just look under production cues, then 5280's and if you see anything you like, just give me a call and I will give you a special deal. My number is 1-888-922-5588.

The 2003 Cuestix International Catalog shows both cues in detail. The 5280's seems to be of better quality construction than the Scorpions. The Prices of the 5280 are also much higher.

I thought these cues along with the Scorpion cues were made outside the country?
