Only 19 Republicans and no Democrats voted against sending arms to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. It does seem like a srrreal world that we now occupy.

It only seems surreal when you lack the play bill of the actors and who they really are.

Muslim Brotherhood, created by British Freemasonry in the '20s or whatever, is a key agency of Western control of the Arab nations. The British role has been taken over by the US as of when they decamped the area after two world wars bled their empire dry.

Plainly, the MB are our boys, among the reasons that they foreswore the use or advocacy of the use of violence some decades ago.

Moreover, control of Egypt through their military arrangements with the US is the main way the US has influence, and protects the Israeli/Egypt peace treaty from the Camp David Accords.

Cut that off, and the US loses the power with their military of future military equipment. (Note, the military is a different power group than the MB, which was marginalized all throughout the reign of Mubarek.)

Miles Axe Copeland, Jr. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miles_Axe_Copeland,_Jr.) -a prominent U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_Intelligence_Agency) (CIA) operative who was one of the founding members of the Office of Strategic Services (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Office_of_Strategic_Services) (OSS) under William Donovan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Joseph_Donovan)- divulges the confessions of numerous members of the Muslim brotherhood that resulted from the harsh interrogations done against them by Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gamal_Abdel_Nasser), for their alleged involvement in the assassination attempt made against Nasser (an assassination attempt that many believe was staged by Nasser himself[110] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muslim_Brotherhood#cite_note-110)), which revealed that the Muslim Brotherhood was merely a "guild" that fulfilled the goals of western interests: "Nor was that all. Sound beatings of the Moslem Brotherhood organizers who had been arrested revealed that the organization had been thoroughly penetrated, at the top, by the British, American, French and Soviet intelligence services, any one of which could either make active use of it or blow it up, whichever best suited its purposes. Important lesson: fanaticism is no insurance against corruption; indeed, the two are highly compatible."[111] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muslim_Brotherhood#cite_note-111)

(For an unrelated factoid, this author's son is the former drummer for The Police (Sting's old music group).)

Also, besides the founder of record, this cite mentions the co-founding by four others, members of the Suez Canal Company. The Suez Canal Company was originally of French origin, later majority owned by Great Britain.
