Okay, what is the standard "set-up" for stakehorses? If the stakehorse finds the game, does he get a bigger percentage? I know that negotiations in different circumstances provide different arrangements, but is there a "usually it's _%" norm? And also, who are some of the more wellknown stakehorses? ***Lester***

Hi Lester,

First it's 50-50 and the back takes the loss if any. If you win the shooter should get some Jelly. That's like a little more for playing. Say you win $1100. and the back put up $200. for the first game. The back gets the original $200. plus another $500. split and the shooter gets the other $100. for Jelly.
