The main difference in the cue is the ferrule/tip configuration. The ferrule and tip are all one piece of phenolic and it is guaranteed for life.
When using it for breaking, you must be very careful because it is easy to miscue. Although I am not very accomplished, it is easy to jump balls with this cue.
