Yet another straight pool shot, but one that didn't work out so well..

)END

Trying to make the 5 go off the 7 to break the cluster, and play position for the 12, the cueball rolls in front of the pocket, while the 5 ball hits the cueball into the corner. Who'd have thunk it? Well, now I know about it.. /ccboard/images/icons/smile.gif

Hi Seattle Kid, I just tried your setup. I hit the cueball abouit 1/2 tip below center with I would think a little more weight than you did so the 5 ball was in the pocket before the cueball came off the long rail. The seven ball was the only ball I needed to remove from the cluster as the eleven and ten would go in the same corner as the five with the eight going in the opposite corner. I'll show you how the balls ended after the shot on the five. hope it works for me.Terry START(

Yeah, I proably hit it at JUST the wrong speed for the cueball to go INFRONT of the 5 and for the 5 to kick the cueball in, but I was more worried about the scratch off of the carom.. I just didn't see the possibility of the 5 kicking the cueball in the corner!?!? /ccboard/images/icons/smile.gif It would be insteresting to do this shot so the cueball rolls IN FRONT of the 5 and passes before the 5 goes in.. but it's a little too flashy for me.
