I'm looking for a good breaking cue - Does anyone have suggestions on the best one to buy.

I use the Predator break cue with a hard Talisman tip (the tip that came on it[le-pro] mushroomed), however I feel that most inexpensive cues with a hard tip would perform just as well.

Hello MMT,

I am using a Bunjee Jump/Break cue and seem to break pretty well with it (I have only had it for a week). My big problem is hitting the 1 ball solid, when that happens the break is great.

MMT,

Cutec offers a good 'Break Jump Cue' for under $200.

www.arnotq.com. (http://www.arnotq.com.) this guy makes an excellent break or break/jump cue. if you are gonna spend around $300 for a predator break cue, i would visit arnot's site or call him up to have one custom made for you. He's a nice guy to talk too plus he has a 10 day trial period with all his cues. Get a full refund if you dont like it.

I saw a Stealth breakjump and with an extention that unscrews in the butt that allows for another 6" reach. Pretty cool for us short guys. It also was $125.

Regards,

C.C.~~best extention I've seen on the market and doesn't feel flimsy. It's solid. Don't know if they come in a 18oz.?

We have been working on a B/J cue for several months now. I get the proto-type Friday or Saturday. If its half as solid as his playing cues, I'll be taking some serious orders. More to come.... /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif
