I was looking to buy a pool table over the weekend and I came across two brands that I was interested in, AMERICAN HERITAGE and BRUNSWICK , both were around $2000.

Can anyone please tell me, which pool table has the best construction, quality and durability for the money.

Thanks Hankster

Regardless what advice you get, before buying any table, crawl around under the table and take a look. You don't want to see screws into particle board or that sort of thing. Really look it over good. Table construction is not all that complicated and poor quality really jumps out at you. On a used table this kind of examination is essential.

I'm not an expert, but in my opinion brunswick is the best manufacturer on the market. However, I have a Connelly billiards table that I bought for $1500, and I love it. After $1500, there isn't a large difference in construction and playability, just looks. But still, I would go with the brunswick.
