hard cases and warpage

Assuming the shaft is well made, I want to know which kind of case is best to reduce the possibility of warpage.
1) hard care (tube type) standing upright in low humidity
2)same case upside dowm (ww idea)
3 briefcase style that is long like it holds a musical instrument with cues in it laying flat.
