I was looking to buy a pool cue and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a good online retailer they have had good dealings with. And any suggestions on a sub 250$ cue. Thanks

I've dealt with Muellers and Hawleys and had very good service from both of them. I have an inexpensive Viking cue.(VM24) It's not he prettiest stick, but I love the way it plays. I looked at Hawleys site and saw that there were several Viking cues in the price range that you're looking for.

I just got my wife and my christmas gifts (our first cues) from www.billiardwarehouse.com.... (http://www.billiardwarehouse.com....)

Great prices excellent customer service and a ton of stuff to choose from....

as far as recomendations I'll leave it to the others since I just started playin but I ended up with a entry level Viking and got the Mrs a cuetech.

I will second the nomination for www.hawleys.com (http://www.hawleys.com) and Viking cues. McDermotts aren't bad either.

Laura,

I snuck out to the hall and played with mine already, but don't tell her, it's supposed to be under the tree untill X'mas. I love it and am REALLY happy to have something that is mine and not have to worry about going through all the house cues to find something. Now if I could only sink a ball.......

We're meating with BCA instructor on the 4th of Jan, looking forward to that too.
