Does anyone know if the match scheduled for tonight is still on...10,000 challenge f i am not mistaken?????????????????
I just called them and it is scheduled to start at 7:30. $10,000 today and tomorrow, races to 15.

Johnny Archer took the first race to 15 beating Santos Sambajon 15-7. Santos had a lot of misses late in some racks which set Johnny up with several games.
They play again Tuesday and if necessary on Wednesday in the two out of three format for $20,000.

Ken,
I seem to remember that they are playing on Sambajon's home table. Is that right?
They are playing on his home table which is shimmed pretty tight. It has been moved to the center of the room for this series. Santos is the house pro at Bristol Billiards and doesn't seem to travel much anymore so I guess he spends a lot of time there. It's just a GCIII so Archer isn't having any trouble with it. I don't think either one is using the "pro aiming system", just contact points.

Where are they matching up? is it Bristol Billiards? and if so, where is it?
Bristol Billiards is in Bristol, CT. It's about 20 miles west of Hartford and about 10 miles south. There are lots of good rooms in the southwestern part of CT. Very little in the eastern half where I am, however.

Ken,
Thanks for the info. Yes, it's amazing how well some players can do without the "pro aiming system!.
