How about when I get the fatal error thing? I never did understand computers. Heck, I can't even burn a CD.

Hi Kato,
Heck i'm no expert and far from it. Write down the exact wording of the error then go over to ZDnet and post your question to one of the forums. Sharp folks over there, they have helped me more than once. Yes you can burn a CD here's how-- take one old cd, place it on a plastic cup or similar and put it in the microwave and set for 10 seconds or so. ha ha ha quite a light show for a few seconds! You do have a MW don't you! LOl Now as far as the puter I've never(knock on wood) had a problem with burning a CD.

Thanks Rod I'll try it. My Mom is real good with computer stuff and she told me it might a registry problem. Go on the Roxio website and ask those folks. See, when I got my computer I wanted to become more intimate with it so I uninstalled a bunch of stuff. I the mean time I'd lent out my cd (roxio) and I don't know who I gave it to so I took my Mom's. Anyway, I screwed the pooch and I can't figure it out.

Kato, my software is Adaptec which Roxio bought out. I had to reinstall once because of my screw up. Make note of any error when it happens, it's the only way. What a lot of people don't realize is you can do a search on Google for that error and find answers. Now before I make a dumb mistake I go to ZDnet, ok well sometimes afterwards too! /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif

My favorite message is the one where the program shuts down, and your given an option to check "Details." The details usually look something like:

Error in relay module 1EFF A338 ddum ass1
