Don't you think it's beneficial to get out of your comfort zone sometimes? Wouldn't playing under adverse conditions make you more impervious to them?
I personally don't play in as many tourneys as I would like, what with work, leagues, personal life etc. etc. The only time I have felt out of place was at one that was staged at a pool hall that caters to teenagers as well as serious players. It was a handicapped tourney. They rated me as a 5 and I played against this unknown kid somebody had vouched for as a 4. Well he thumped me 4 straight, running racks, banking 100% etc. That sucked.
Wally~~feels out of place in "kiddie" pool halls
