Chesapeake to host Inaugural Mid-Atlantic 9-ball Championships

Starting Wednesday, January 22, 128 of the best 9-Ball players from
all over the world will be descending on Chesapeake, Virginia for the Mid-Atlantic
9-Ball Championship. The tournament will run through Sunday, January 26.
The event is being hosted at the Holiday Inn Chesapeake Virginia and is
being organized by Fantasy9Ball.com, Inc. the successful interactive billiard
internet site ran by local business owner and long time billiard industry
organizer and insider Brady Behrman.

The $75,000 prize fund tournament will consist of 2 sessions per day with
ticket prices ranging from $10 - $15 per person per session. There is a
seating occupancy of 500 people in a tight knit arena style setup. The first session is scheduled to start each day at 11 a.m. Some of the illustrious names committed to
play at the event include recent 2002 US Open winner Ralf Souquet, the infamous
”Magician” Efren Reyes, multiple title winner and hall of fame member Earl
”The Pearl” Strickland and 2002 World Pool Championship winner Francisco
Bustamante.

This is the first solo event to be organized by Brady Behrman. However,
even at a young age (25), Behrman is a veteran event organizer, who was raised
in the billiard industry and has been instrumental in helping organize and
host the US Open 9-Ball Championship for the past several years with his
father, Barry Behrman.

By younger Behrman’s foray into the large Pool and Billiard event planning
and organizing, Chesapeake, VA is becoming the center of US National billiard
tournament world. Tickets can either be purchased each day of the event
at the door or contact Brady Behrman at 757-328-3229 for further information.
