Are there any pictures of where you live on the internet? Put them here.
Here is one of where I live. I'm about 3/4 of a mile inland from the left edge of the picture. This pic was taken from NJ. http://doody36.home.attbi.com/liberty.htm

LOL Good one Sniper. Specially in the winter. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif St
For now, this is the best I could do. This is an example of how beautiful some of our city is (Jacksonville, Florida is the closest "big city" around us, but I hate it-partly because it's so "industrialized"-doesn't have as much beautiful scenery).

I tried but come up a little short. I live 2 miles north of this big rock!

It's not NYC, but it's pretty. It's my grandparents home town in Sicily, where they lived before they came here in 1913. I've supposedly inherited one of those houses. I hope it's the castle on the hill. Haha!

I'm a mile and a quarter SW of the stables which are by the corner of the park where the big lake is. http://www.sunset-park.com/main/index2.html
I live on the other side of the cemetery. Sometimes I jog around it which is almost 4 miles. There are dozens of famous people buried there like Lenard Bernstien, the composer; DeWitt Clinton, the NY Governor; Albert Anastasia, the mobster; Louis Steinway, the piano maker; and the guy that invented seltzer water. Heres a list of some of the famous people buried there. How many do you know? http://www.mike-reed.com/Cemeteries/cemetery-green-wood-brooklyn-new_york.htm
It is hilly and wooded and has three lakes. It is so complex and pretty that there are a series of tours that one can go on in the summer. I've taken a couple of them.
Some people have made websites about it. Some of them are artistically goulish:
http://www.walrus.com/~yowzer/wood/wood.html Links to pictures of the "ugliness of the industrial wasteland" he refers to can be found in nAz's thread on Old NYC. That industrial wasteland sells for about $400,000.00 for a 20' x 100' lot with a brick shell of a building on it.

You can cybersign a message of support to the US Troops here. (http://www.defendamerica.mil/nmam.html) /ccboard/images/graemlins/laugh.gif 6.7 million people are reported to have signed already.
Dear member of the U.S. military:
Thank you for defending our freedom.

Jungle Jim's rocks... I think that may be the only worthwhile place in Hamilton. I used to live in Oxford. Just out of curiosity, do you ever see the dude that rides around on his bicycle with stuffed animals attached to his body? I am assuming he is homeless... He may be the only thing that gives competition to Jungle Jims.

<font color="blue">Yeah I think you're right. Since the Vagabond lounge burned down /ccboard/images/graemlins/laugh.gif.
It's not even in Hamilton, it's in Fairfield. </font color>

<font color="blue">Yeah. Get this, some rookie cop gave him a ticket for selling his paintings on the street. There was a huge uproar and some judge threw it out. He got a lot of pub outta that and sold a bunch of paintings. </font color>

Oxford rocks. I used to go up to Ozzie's, Boar's Head(?), Riprocks. Not so much anymore since I'm old enough to be those girls' daddy /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It's Spring Break in Ft. Lauderdale. I don't think the women on the board would care to see what's probably going on. The guys however............that's a different story.
