I'm looking to get a table for my basement. I'm looking at a used Brunswick 9' Gold Crown on EBAy, will probably go for 2500-3000; I'd need to pay to get it delivered and set up. I went out and looked at 8 foot Kassons, World of Leisure and American Heritage today. about 1500-2500 including set up. What do you guys think about these other brands? The Kasson salesperson was telling me that his brasilian slate was better cuz it obtained moisture. The American Heritage guy was telling me his felt was 80/20 and was better than Simonis.
I'd like to pull the trigger soon.(Ebay brunswick ends tomorrow) Any opinions would be appreciated.

Im certainly no expert but I would think that Italian slate and simonis cloth would be best which is probably whats on the brunswick.
