View Full Version : Does anyone have or use a Willard tipping machine?

Would you recommend it or something else. I want to start doing cue tip repairs and maybe someday work into doing more.

I have 2 Willards. I make 30-50 Qs a year & do up to 2000 repairs a year. I like the willards because they do a really good job & they free up my lathes. Each Q is put in one of my lathes after the tip is put on & sanded, cleaned or burnished & tip shaped. I think you'll like the Willard because the are so simple to use...JER

Thank you for the response. I can't afford a lathe right now, and thought I might at least start by doing tip repairs. Although, $400.00 isn't a great deal of money, I don't have it to waste on something that isn't going to do what I want. Thanks again. /ccboard/images/icons/smile.gif
