Three stars! Three stars from Ebert is pretty good. There's a heck of a lot of big movies that don't get three stars from Ebert. I think his review will fill a lot of theater seats.

The movie sukked.
Too many young kids who can't act.
The dialog was terrible outside of Walken and Callahan.
The support cast was B-movie grade.
The plot was mediocre at best.
The pool shots/games were too corny and outright dumb at times.
It'll be on video by June.

I will see it when it comes out on video, I haven't been to the movies in years, we have a home theater. You have to divorce yourself from being a pool player and try to see if there is and entertainment value. I have watches movies with friends that know the subject and it is always the same. I remember watching Backdraft with some firemen. They could not stop yelling at the screen. If you are really picky, even the Hustler is not very good from a real pool playing point of view, but it was entertaining.
