Regardless of one's political view, these were pretty funny to me. /ccboard/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

I wonder if drugs leads to this delusion? I guess she has had the answer this whole time bottled up in that body and now she is spreading her wisdom for all to hear and change our ways. LOL

Quote Whoopi:
"I don't really view communism as a bad thing."

This is really a tough one, simply because the actual base concept behind communism is not a bad thing if you do not believe in individuality. I personally do not like Comm, but I think the Dictatorial rulers of Russia, Cuba, etc have given it a bad rap.

Quote Richard Gere:
"America has never paid any attention to other people"

Moron, Moron, Moron. I would venture to say he is a fool. There are way too many examples to list. One would be the astronomical amount of money that Bush has budgeted to send to Africa to help with AIDS. Uh oh, I am disagreeing with Bush here. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif I say to heck with the Africans, lets spend that money here on our own people with AIDS.

Quote David Clennon:
"I'm saying that the moral climate within the ruling class in this country is not that different from the moral climate within the ruling class of Hitler's Germany."

I don't know this person, but I disagree. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif This might be true if FDR had his way, but certainly not right now.

Quote Harry Belafonte:
"Colin Powell's committed to come into the house of the master. When Colin Powell dares to suggest something other than what the master wants to hear, he will be turned back out to pasture."

Simple...He is a race baiter.

Quote Danny Glover:
"Bush is a racist"

So is Danny Glover. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Quote Gore Vidal:
I don't see us winning the war. We have made enemies of one billion Muslims."

"As dumb as this administration is, they don't look ahead. They don't know where any countries are...They don't really know much about anything."

"Now you have people [in Washington] who have no interest in the country at all. They're interested in their companies, their corporations grabbing Caspian oil."

I disagree absolutely with the oil. France is the biggest loser should something happen to the oil. I heard an interesting tidbit of info...There is a French publication that owns/publishes Car and Driver and some other magazines...Well guess who is a 90 million dollar stock holder...Guess who...It is Saddam. Iraq and France are in bed with each other and it keeps showing its ugly head. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif

[ QUOTE ]
"In my country the atmosphere is poisoned. Unbreathable for those of us who are not on the right. So thank you for inviting me to this festival and allowing me to leave there for a few days.";

This quote does not bother me, any one on the right will say the same of the left.

Quote Janeanne Garofalo:
"So when I see the American flag, I go, 'Oh my God, you're insulting me.'"

"'We're here, we're queer!' -- that's what makes my heart swell. Not the flag, but a gay naked man or woman burning the flag. I get choked up with pride."

Why isn't she being a gay/lesbian human shield in Iraq. What does being queer have anything to do with the flag. This woman is one of the most outspoken idiots dim witted non-american living here. Gays/Lesbians do have it pretty tough here in America due to their sexual preference, but at least they are free to do what they want. They may feel they are not free due to persecution by other Americans for their choice, but they are still allowed to have sex with whomever they want in America. The government does not control this.

Quote George Clooney:
"I believe he thinks this [war against Iraq] is a war that can be won, but there is no such thing anymore...We can't beat anyone anymore"

Why doesn't George make a special trip to the Taliban and tell me who won in Ashcanistan. The Taliban were removed and we won. We have not captured/killed Osama, but Ashcanistan is definitely a free country right now.

Quote Larry Hagman:
"[Bush is a] sad figure: not too well educated, who doesn't get out of America much. He's leading the country towards fascism... he wouldn't understand the word fascism anyway."

What a dodo bird. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif I wonder if ole smarter-than-the-rest-of-us-Larry would rather Socialism.

Quote Mike Farrell:
"It is inappropriate for the [Bush] administration to trump up a case in which we are ballyhooed into war."

But, a few years earlier:

"...the bottom line is that I think it’s appropriate for the international community in situations like this to intervene [in Kosovo]. I am in favor of an intervention. On some level you have to say that at least somebody [Clinton] is doing something."

What is this idiot talking about. Trumping us into war? Bush is the one that STARTED this? What a fool. I will say, Bush is the one that is actually doing something about it. Bush senior failed to get Saddam. Clinton failed to grab his you know what and kill Saddam when he had the chance. Clinton said in 1998 that Saddam was being given his last chance. The UN said in 2000 that Saddam has his last chance. Now 5 years after Clinton gave Saddam his last chance, Bush is finally going to do something about it. Bush is not trumping us to war.

Hey Naz, I have read quite of few of these a couple times before. Martin Sheen is a wonderful person to listen to, because he is the entire twisted Hollywood manta all in one individual. He feels that playing the President in a TV show somehow gives him the knowledge to make real decisions. Heck this man does not even get to choose what suit he wears on the show.
