Cue Club, Las vegas, Nevada.
1 three cushion table
1 Snooker table
Roughly 30 Gold crowns
I am going to say about 15 -20 bar boxes but am unsure as i never played on one in there.
Good kitchen, great bar, poker machines if thats your thing. Good atmosphere in the daytime. Night time is kiddie corner if you know what i mean.
Great people running it, great rates.
I wouldnt think of going anywhere else to play.

Big place. Diamond Pro and Gandy tables. Clean. Decent rates.

Shitty jukebox though.

Well, California is pretty big but for Northern California I would have to go with California Billiards in Sunnyvale California.

Roughly 30 to 40 gold crowns, 2 or 3 three cushion tables with heated slates and one snooker table. Good Kitchen with elevated seating over the tournament area. Also Mike Massey can be found from time to time on the premesis.

I think you must mean the California Billiard Club in Mountain View.

You might want to also check out Hard Times in Sacramento.

I was in San Jose a few years ago and played in here.

Pretty nice, it has a nice open and airy feel to it. it is a 2 story building and has real high ceilings. Somewhere between 26 and 30 tables 4 of which are up in a loft. Kinda caters to the yuppie crowd though.

You must be thinking of a different place. There's no loft, and is a relatively new place. Check the web link in one of the previous posts.

Did you look at the link I posted? I would say that the picture on the home page was taken from the loft...as I remember it. It has been several years since I was there. You said it was new? Was it a pool hall before? Is it located a couple of blocks from the convention center in San Jose? I am 99.9999 percent sure this is the same room I was in.

Chris ~ has been wrong before

Chris,
No this is definetely a different place. The California Billiard Club is located in Mountain View not in San Jose.

A check of the link that Chris showed was clearly not the California Billiard Club. Nor did it even suggest it was. So, what pray tell happened? Simple. Chris never said anything about the California Billiard Club.

Fred <~~~ can see where reading in flat mode vs. threaded mode can confuse people

Ohhh, Sorry for the confusion Dennis. I am not talking about the California Billiard Club. The place I am refering is South First Billiards in San Jose. I guess you didn't - couldn't see the link I posted. It's a pretty nice place, you should check it out some time. Glad that's cleared up, I was starting to think I was nuts /ccboard/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
