Removing Paper Spots

I have one of those paper spots stuck on my table. If I tear it off, will it damage my simonis 860?

If you're careful pealing it off, it should not hurt a thing. I peal worn spots off often with zero problems.

Maybe try warming the spot up with a hairdryer first, as to soften the glue underneath. It works for removing pinstripes on cars. And for drying one's hair... tee hee
