My 1911 Brunswick-Balke -Collander serial # is M61644-whats the meaning,please?
Carol~it better be real or FUGHEDDABOUDIT!ha ha ha
I'm sure it's real. My table is M70446 and could have been made around 1916-1928. I'm curious as to why you know yours is 1911? My table is a Monroe model and I assume the "M" in the serial number is for the model name. I've also seen one with a "J" which was a Jefferson. If that is correct then your model name might begin with an M also.
If yours has sloping sides it might be a Mikado. The Madison has more pinstriping that you described but it has straight sides like the Monroe. If yours has the straight sides it might be one of that President name series without all the pinstriping. I think the Madison was later than 1911.
Here's a link to the Madison:

Very very similar to Madison, but the legs are shorter like the mikado! I'll look into it-whats the link for antique tables?
