Inspection teams

Have you noticed anything fishy about the inspection teams who have
arrived in Iraq? They're all men. How in the name of the United
Nations does anyone expect men to find Saddam's stash? We all know
that men have a blind spot when it comes to finding things. For
crying' out loud! Men can't find the dirty clothes hamper. Men can't
find the jar of jelly until it falls out of the cupboard and
splatters on the floor.... and these are the people we have sent into
Iraq to search for hidden weapons of mass destruction?

I keep wondering why groups of mothers weren't sent in. Mothers can
sniff out secrets quicker than a drug dog can find a gram of dope.
Mothers can find gin bottles that dads have stashed in the attic
beneath the rafters. They can sniff out a diary two rooms and one
floor away. They can tell when the lid of a cookie jar has been
disturbed and notice when a quarter inch slice has been shaved off a
chocolate cake.

A mother can smell alcohol on your breath before you get your key in
the front door and can smell cigarette smoke from a block away. By
examining laundry, a mother knows more about their kids than Sherlock
Holmes. And if a mother wants an answer to question, she can read an
offender's eyes quicker than a homicide detective.

So... considering the value a mother could bring to an inspection
team, why are we sending a bunch of old men who will rely on
electronic equipment to scout out hidden threats? My mother would
walk in with a wooden soup spoon in one hand, grab Saddam by the ear,
give it a good twist and snap, "Young man, do you have any weapons of
mass destruction?"

And God help him if he tried to lie to her. She'd march him down the
street to some secret bunker and shove his nose into a nuclear bomb
and say, "Uh, huh, and what do you call this, mister?"

Whap! Thump! Whap! Whap! Whap! And she'd lay some stripes across his
bare bottom with that soup spoon, then march him home in front of the
whole of Baghdad. He'd not only come clean and apologize for lying
about it, he'd cut every lawn in Baghdad for free for the whole damn
summer.

Inspectors my ass... You want the job done? Call my mother.

I think your Mom and my Mom are related!!!!!!! She once grounded me for an entire summer for telling her I cleaned my room when really I just stuffed everything in the closet. For the record, I got no reprieve. Back then I had no stereo, no cable, no T.V., no video games, no DVD, no cd's, no cassette player, no computer. NOTHING!!!!!! That was about 20 years ago mind you. Shoot, when my niece gets grounded it's like going on vacation.

My Mom would kick Saddams ass and then ground him for a entire year. She doesn't really cook any more though so he may starve. She also has no qualms about smacking him with one of the most severe paddles (still in our family but it's really just an heirloom) in the universes. Because he's mean and has been bad it would be multiple whacks.

Kato~~~knows his Mom would tear up Iraq. Plus, she gets these hot flashes and would not like the heat over there, that would really tick her off.

You know, there is a lot of truth to your post, LOL. Ask any city gas company, and they will tell you that it is always women who first sniff gas leaks and call them.

On a more serious note, I am DISGUSTED with those damn inspectors!!

And NOW, we find that the Russians have sold Saddam technology to throw off our GPS systems, what next? They were not supposed to do that either.

The things that have come to light since all this started have really opened up my eyes when it comes to how lousy these other nations can be, especially Germany, Belgium, France and Russia, and also, even the Inspectors, who I now think were against the USA from the start. And BTW, did we have any inspectors looking around over there from the USA???

With everything that has happened, and although I know everyone has a right to speak their mind in our great nation, I really don't know how anyone can march and protest against the decision made by president Bush after everything that has come out. I've may never have been a fan of his, but it is obvious to me now, that he is doing what MUST be done if we are to continue to have peace and safety here in America.

Would never march against the president's decision for war during war time out of respect for those who are fighting for my freedom.

Would buy no damn pool table from Belgium either !!!

Poor Hans forgot to mention these weapons and convientently hid them in the middle of his report. What a joke.

Poor Germany does not want to be our ally, but they sure love our money and protection.

I understand there are approximately 300,000 NEW weapon inspectors there right now.

These NEW inspectors aren't going to be as easy for IRAQ to work with as the UN inspectors.
