old threads

I think threads over 30 or 45 days old should be locked.

It's not difficult to extract an old quote from the archives and start a new thread.

As you might be able to tell a majority of the older threads have been moved now. The threads will now be kept live for approximately 60 days, before being moved into the archives.

I would like to see threads able to be replied to for more like a year. Why archive information sooner than that? The topic may wish to be discussed further before locking it away.
