I'll be in Buffalo for the NCAA div 1 Hockey 'Frozen Four', and would like to take in a poolroom, too /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Any hints towards a reasonably safe player oriented room would be appreciated -- especially if there are fellow CCBer's, and extra especially if they are One Pocket players!
Thanks in advance...

I lived there for about a year and found decent tables at Pearl Street Grill & Brewery (how much better can you get that a pool hall above a brewery?) /ccboard/images/graemlins/cool.gif
I don't know much about the action you'd find there - it's more of an after work place for downtown workers, but the tables are 9 x 4.5 and very well kept.
Hope this helps a little!
Classic Cue Billiards on Transit Road has weekly tourneys (60+ players last week) Gold Crown Tables
Bogie's on Main Street...plenty of action w/ very nice Diamond Tables
Pocketeer Billiards on Clinton Street ...more action and Tourneys on Mon. and Wed. nights

Thanks for the info -- Mapquest ought to show how close I'll be to these rooms...
Is One Pocket played much in any of these rooms perchance /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif ?
Steve,
Bogie's might have a few one pocket players but it is mostly nine-ball around here.

Is the Hippodrome still in business? The rooms has a 6x12 Brunswick Kling or Arcade snooker table. ####
Hippodrome still exists but I have never ventured down there.
