Brunswick Vs. American Heritage

Hi,

I cannot decide between Avalon model from Brunswick and Palmero from American Heritage. Which one should I buy considering that I can get both for almost the same price? I was told that I can get a one inch thick slate (actual specification: 3/4 inch) on Brunswick if I paid $150 more. I'm very new to this and would appreciate any advice or direction.

I don't know didley about either table. Just a post to move yours to the top. I will say buy 1" slate. It plays better and even a little quieter. 3/4" is common to bar and lower end tables.

Well I would go for the Brunswick with 1" slate. The heavier 1" slate adds a lot to the solid feel of the table and brunswick being very popular and well known would be easier to resell if you ever decide to get rid of it.
