Hello Mates,
Right at this moment North Island( NZ has two Islands and are called North and south Islands) 9 ball champion ships and also Billiards championships are going on.I noted few things that are of interest to me.The draw for the tournament was done well in advance and days before the tournament began players were informed about the time of their match.Most of the 9 ball players are wearing Vests like Snooker players. Some players are carying very long cases with one piece cue in it( looked like fihing poles).
Coming to Billiards it is not what u see in USA where the Table does not have pockets.They play Billiards on a 12 foot Snooker Table with 6 pockets.They have referries for the Billiards.
