Extensions on cues

What do you guys think about those extension on buttcap type cues, that you can quick release out. Does it remain solid, or does the buttcap wobble since its on a think rod. Like the Ebony/Ebony cue on the link below

I don't know about the extension but the first plain jane cue pictured looks good to me.

I have tried a few...New...some retrofits. Al were a little
but heavy. If you like it that way it's great. Real handing if you can't handle the reach or you need a couple of inches.
