Cracker Preditor Ferule

I have been using Preditor shafts now for over 6 years. I
love them. I really enjoy loading up on the inside and
can do it from almost any lenght and weight with great
sucess. Only one problem. I have now cracked my second
ferule!?! I am familiar with it's construction and thus
take very, very, very little off the top when changing tips.

I checked a new out for lenght & width vs. my current cracked shaft and they match up perfectly for length and width.

Has anyone else had similar problems. I'm not a big hitter
and never break with it. Furthermore I use relatively
med-soft tips.

Any ideas?

Yes,I have. I started changing my tip more often. Also went to a harder tip and love it. I'm using a triangle tip now. It last 2-3 times longer. It did take some getting use to but would not change back for nothing.Do not try to change your ferule like I tried to do. I took it back to Preditor and they said they would have replaced it if I had not tried to. So next time it cracks, send it to preditor. They will fix it or replace it.

I see it happen occasionally. Send it back to predator and they will fix it for you.
