Intermediate player looking for cue advice

I am NEW to the board, so HELLO all!!! My name is Galen and I am an intermediate player that is looking to go to the next level of this sport, and I am trying to find just the right cue...any advice to the "newbie" will be appreciated. I am shorter than average (5' 3" ) and was wondering if I should go with a shorter than standard 58" cue. Also, what is a ideal weight??? Any suggestions, PLEASE email me at: tigerfan30@yahoo.com

If you've been shooting with a 58" cue and are an intermediate player why change to a smaller stick? It will take some adjusting. Stay with what you have.

The ideal weight is what is ideal for you. 19 oz is a good place to start. I would say that 70-80% of the cues I sell are 19.
