Beats sleeping in your car I guess. /ccboard/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I look for Stacey Hurst to snap off this tourney /ccboard/images/graemlins/wink.gif. Good luck.

Stacy winning this tournament would be a pretty good trick. I kicked her off my tour when she got her Touring Pro status at the BCA last year.

OK Mike. I didn't realize she was now a touring pro. Heck, I can't keep track of all these players /ccboard/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

We both knew this time would come and this was the only way we could do it.

I had to do the same thing with Cassie. Cassie has since lost her Touring Pro status and can now play again (but she's taking a break).

Stacy and I have always felt that qualifiers and pros should be held in different tournament settings. We were not about to change our focus or ideas when she became a Pro.

Stacy wasn't thrilled that she couldn't play on our local tour, but she knew it was the right decision to make. She still gets her fix at local tournaments.

We have since started a Sunday tournament (same weekend as the regular tour) that allows Touring Pros and Amateurs to compete together in a round robin format. TP's go to 7 and all other players go to 5.

Mike,

I was under the assumption that the WPBA said that TPs were not allowed to play in Regional Tour qualifiers. The only events TPs can play in are the State Championships and only if they're "Open SCs" as opposed to "Amateur/Semi-Pro only".

I, for one, miss playing the TPs at ur Qs.
