View Full Version : ANGER MANAGEMENT ?
The other day i was in the ph, not shooting just talkin shyt and playin chess, now these two older guys were shooting 8ball for a few dollars a game, now one of them was losing so bad, we started to take notice, finally he quit. But it was how he quit! He gets REAL mad slams the cue on the wood of the table right where you screw the joints together, dayuumm. Then takes a deep breath and sits the broken cue on the jukebox, pays his table time and leaves, everyone in laughing and in shock. i ran over to the cue. i get the cue and it's this of minnesota fats cue with a MOORI tip, luckly the shaft was still in good shape and fitted perfectly on my cue. So i sent the cue away to have the join on the forearm of the cue replace.
but damn, was it really a need to destroy the cue?

Some guys are just knuckle heads, what can i tell you ? They get themselves in hock and they cant take it. Losing money is a funny thing, people all react in different ways. Over the last 22 years ive seen almost everything that can be seen in a casino. ALMOST everything, im sure theres a few that they been saving for me. lol
I seen guys go bannanas over losing a hundred and i watched a guy blow $870,000 over 3 hours and never change the expression on his face.

I wish you could blame the cue stick instead of who was behind it pushing it. /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It's not hard to see why this guy was losing bad, he was probably getting so angy and frustrated he couldn't sink shyt.

That is a very good reason to buy and use very expensive cue sticks. You will not do something as stupid as that, too many times. /ccboard/images/graemlins/blush.gif
i agree rich, i have never done such. the most i've done is accidentally kicked the table for literally stomp my foot so hard on the floor, that i could get a sneak preview at hell, LOL but other than never my cue. am scared to let people shoot with it.

You think that buying an expensive cue would prevent its own abuse? Did you ever read my post concerning someone who smashed up a very expensive Szamboti cue over a missed practice shot??
And that Barry fixed it was beyond me.

<blockquote><font class="small">Quote Hopster:</font><hr> I seen guys go bannanas over losing a hundred and i watched a guy blow $870,000 over 3 hours and never change the expression on his face. <hr /></blockquote>Why would you want to change the expression of your face? It just wastes energy and you need to eat more food, think of all the innocent animals who get killed just because of some stupid evil guys who get mad. This is why aliens are not able to smile and change the expression of their faces, to save energy.
Running or walking is also evil because you burn more calories, you shouldn't do things that are not necessary, like getting angry for a stupid reason. Just relax and think of the innocent animal's life that you are saving.
Myself I try to move as little as possible, I lie down in my bed and when I can't lie down anymore I go and sit infront of the computer. I also plan the body movements when going to the toilet and kitchen so I walk as little as possible. Of course I never leave the house, because that is very evil.
You don't lose strength by not moving if you lift weights, only 1 set per body part is allowed or it is evil and you need to eat more. Make your exercises as brutal as possible and rest a longer time, so your total sets gets as low as possible. From a very brutal workout you can need as much as 6 months or longer recovery.
I am ashamed of myself for allowing me to be evil in the past and wasting energy, I am still ashamed of needing food for my body. I am ashamed to have a human vessel, I don't want to be this evil, I can't take it any longer.
If people would become vegetarians, then none of these problems would be here, walking will not be evil anymore. Stop eating innocent animals or get punished evil humans.

In the 60's...a great player named Gene Nagy was famous for breaking cues after missing a shot or merely getting out of line. The cues he broke were Balabushka'a. It got to the pount were George wouldnt make Gene any more cues. So he paid other to order and purchase the cues and Gene would pay them <I assume with a vig>.Can you imagine busting a Balabushka?...<shudders>

Got to be careful with that acid, Patrick. Does strange things to the mind.

Just do not know why anybody would do this. When I get mad, I just start slamming balls in the hole as hard as I can.
Plus, this all comes from thinking too much.
When I am just shooting, I do not get mad. Maybe that guy was thinking too much.
