Vegas Open question..not Masters

At the open tournament for the, I guess the non pro players, if you place in a certain position will you still be considered for the Open after that or bump you up to the Masters?

A heard a friend of mine, Tyler Luce, is sitting on point down there for a guaranteed $4000 for 2nd in the open. If he wins will he be allowed back, or told that he has to play in the masters from now on? Even getting 2nd is quite the accomplishment with the number of players there.

I have never played in Reno or Vegas so I don't know how it works.

Nevermind, I found out.

He got 2nd for $5500. Not too shabby. Gonna have to hit him up for a loan LOL.
