Saw it today and could have lived without seeing it. Nothing really new and a ton of special effects and a jibberish plot just didnt cut it with me.
Just an opinion.

We went and saw it yesterday. The story was good, but couldn't live up to the prequel. I was upset about the end. Guess we have to wait til November when Revisited comes out. The special effects were good, as usual, and a lot of them. All in all, I'd give it 3 stars out of 5.

My oldest boy went with his friends last nite and saw it.. his review... I want to see it again.. the chase scene was worth the price of admission.. SPECIAL effects were AWESOME.

What else can I say.. if you saw and liked the 1st one.. you'll like this one.

Some people are definetly going to like it. i just felt that it was the same stuff over and over. The karate scenes were putting me to sleep, the chase was good though.
Computer graphics have taken over the movies. Is anyone going to make a good old fashioned Phillip Marlowe detective story ever again ? A good old fashioned gangster movie ? I will even settle for a good western !!!

Oh.. the good ole westerns... the last good one was "Unforgiven" prior to that "Silverado"

Over the last 20 years.. poor... very poor.

you me and the cast's family would be the only viewers.

Sex and Action.. is what the movie going public wants now.

Hey I'd be there to watch too! Those karate senes remind me of WWF. Who can move their hand fast enough to make a swoosh sound? LOL

You know something, Tom ? I could watch The good, the bad and the ugly at least once a week and still enjoy it.
That and for a few dollars more, a fistful of dollars and once upon a time in the west.
Why cant they make them like that anymore ???

Okay, I'll be the one to stir up some trouble today, LOL. Feeling a bit onory anyway.

I grew up with all the old, even though they were reruns, horror movies, with Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff. Loved 'em. Was never real big on westerns, but John Wayne was one of the most incredible actors I've ever seen. And I loved Clint Eastwood in Unforgiven.

However, I am really into all the computer graphic, karate, action movies. I don't believe there's any going back to the way things were, now that times have changed so much. I don't believe there would be enough interest. Of course, you know you could probably make your own western the old fashioned way, LOL. I'll go see the blood curdling, knife wielding, karate chopping movies until something better comes around, hahahahahaha.

Man that's old, you'd better save your energy. /ccboard/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I liked John Wayne, Rooster Cogburn was a good one. Clint Eastwood was good in most anything. Gene Hackman is another favorite.

The computer graphics is fine but it depends on the movie. Can you swoosh air with your hand,? LOL oh wait thats Christ. My own western eh? I probably could have but old Riley didn't have a saddle. LOL Your not much trouble Heide, now go watch some blood and guts! /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I can't wait to see it, I've heard it's similar to the first one and if you liked the original you'll like this one as well, it sure has generated a ton of media attention though and just from that it should make a ton of cash.

Well i heard the record for opening day cash was 3 million for jurassic park and that was in 93. This one took in 13 million for the first day. Its showing 24 hours at some theatres out here.

You're so sweet for thinking of me, LOL. Actually, I just got done working on my own screen saver. It's a little rough, but not bad for my first. I designed a pool table with a rack of 15 balls being run out. Yeah, right, in my dreams, hahahahaha.

I loved the movie and my wife hated it. This is what I expected from the movie...A lot of action scenes, a cool highway scene, not much dialogue or plot. I think the only thing I could have done without was the lovemaking scene between Keanu and Carrie. It is tough for that to come off as real when Keanu's sexual preference is in question. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif I think some of the scenes were a little long but not a whole lot else to complain about. I was entertained and that is what I fully expected of the movie.

One thing is for sure, some will like/love it and some will hate it. LOL, not much room in between. This is why there are so many types of movies to go watch.

Oh yeah, I also want to go see Bruce Almighty. I am sucker for Jim Carrey movies. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif

LOL.. I watched "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" this week. Still one of my favorite series. All those Clint Eastwood 'spegetti' westerns are great.

Also "once upon a time in the west" Henry Fonda playing the bad guy. Great western

That D/L was at Cnet, you'd think it would be ok. Can't trust any of these sites. I run Spybot also and I don't D/L that stuff. Thanks it's good info for anyone else.

I saw it on opening day and my take is that:

"The Matrix Reloaded" is to action what pornography is to sex.

Keanu is still not Bruce Lee! /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Enter the Dragon is still the ultimate martial arts movie.
Bruce Lee gives me goosebumps. Keanu makes me laugh.
Matrix is really a videogame in the form of a movie.

Definitely the best martial arts movie ever made. Watch it every time it's on.
