View Full Version : A Trick Shot
Well really more of a stroke trick shot. I was fooling around the other night, I'm good at that. I rememberd a shot I use to shoot once in a while. It took two trys, avg is about 1 in three. Firm stroke and draw. If you look at this from the end of the table it probably looks like a small bowling ball with a big hook!

Give this shot a try. A guy named Norm Webber showed me this shot. The object is to bank the 9 ball three rails. You stop the cue ball at "A" with a bunch of right english on it (Spinning like a top) The 9 goes three rails and knocks the cue ball three rails making the 8 ball. Webber makes it in two tries, I need twenty just to keep the cue ball there spinning and another 20 to actually make it. I never saw anybody else do this shot with any consistency
That is an interesting shot. I think it's easier than it looks. Your right though about the c/b. I'll try that sometime. I'd never be consistant though, I wouldn't spend the time.
I shoot this about twice a year maybe. It has a similarity to your shot. Shoot the 1 ball three rails, it comes around and kicks the c/b in. The c/b travels to point A. I've never taken over 20. Doubt I'll go on the road with that one. LOL
As Judge Haller from My cousin Vinney would say, are you on drugs? LOL Make a video of that and send it to me.

Heres a simple Trick Shot that i look for in game situations. The idea here is to pocket the 9 without a 3 ball combination. You hit the 1 sending it into the 5 nocking the 1 and the 5 out of the cueballs path so that the cueball has a clear path to the 9.
Here is another stroke shot. Low left english, causes a the cue ball to come back two rails and return to pocket the 9ball.
Kinda a money winner here when ya figure it out.
That is a handy shot to know. It doesn't come up very often but when it does it pays off.
Not a trick shot but it's looks to be the best way of playing position. These do come up and handy to know. Got to be carefull of to much draw. The one is off the rail.

Here's one that will test your stroke, 3 balls in one stroke
Discovered it by accident but after I practiced it for a while I could usually make it within 3 trys. Takes a good stroke and a medium to fast table. A good proposition bet. Would bet I could do it in 4 trys. Good Luck /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif
